I am passionate about UX Product Web Graphic Motion Design

I am a Group Senior Product Designer at DP World, I bring a decade of experience designing impactful solutions for leading brands such as DP World, H&M, Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar Land Rover, and Audi. My passion lies in creating user-centred designs that seamlessly blend technology, creativity, and human psychology to deliver meaningful experiences.

I thrive on solving complex problems, driving strategic decisions, and fostering collaboration through storytelling, design sprints, and workshop facilitation. My experience spans across diverse products and industries, equipping me with the skills to lead cross-functional teams, shape design strategies, and ensure alignment with business goals.

My Experience

2023 - Present

DP World

At DP World, I led the creation of a unified, scalable multi-brand design system, collaborating with a global team of designers and developers to consolidate four systems into one. I also drove the redesign of logistics platforms, including the POFM and P&O Ferrymasters booking platforms, delivering seamless, user-centred solutions for complex freight management needs.

2021-2023

H&M Grroup

At H&M, I led the design for global authentication and authorization flows, including Sign-in and Sign-up experiences, impacting millions of users across web and mobile platforms. I also designed a GDPR-compliant My Personal Data portal for H&M Group’s global markets, collaborating with stakeholders and facilitating a five-day design sprint to deliver a user-friendly and trust-building solution.

2016 - 2021

Mercedes Benz Research and Development India

As a UX Specialist at Mercedes Benz, I enhanced user experiences for key projects like Fleet Management Software and SMA4U by conducting stakeholder and customer interviews and utilizing user data to inform design decisions. My work resulted in more intuitive solutions that saved transactional time and ensured secure data transfer.

Working together with Kapil has been a blast. He’s a humble, smart, and thoughtful designer who’s always open to sharing and collaborating. His love for the craft has been shown by starting up initiatives for our entire design community (knowledge festival), supporting several product teams to work more design-driven, and having an open mindset to adapt and change priorities based on where the business needs the most focus. To anyone who gets to work with him; congrats!

I had the privilege to work and cooperate with Kapil during 2021/2022 with Design Sprints and Figma designs in focus. He never hesitates to support with his knowledge, sharing tips and tricks while doing so in a clear and effective way. We have shared experience and good laughs while progressing in the project we have been in, and you can really tell that Kapil loves doing what he does. I've learned a lot during our cooperation and I have been very much inspired with the way he conducts design sprints. Anyone who get's the chance to cooperate with Kapil can be lucky.

I have had the nice opportunity to both recruit and work closely with Kapil - developing ADAS for Mercedes-Benz. The first sparks of his capability were visible during his recruitment - thereby leading to his induction. I always saw Kapil take full ownership for the topics assigned to him. He demonstrated a good understanding of the topic and always took control to bring it to a good decision point. We always felt confident with his contributions. Kapil - Appreciate your hard work and support on the entire POFM customer platform journey thus far. The UX for this had it own challenges and we had to tweak our approaches a few times basis the changing needs of the business & stringent timelines. However, your unwavering support, "can-do" attitude, close collaboration across the board, open nature for feedbacks and ability to deliver a great UX for POFM customers, despite all the challenges, was great to witness.
